Rant 1

I have been thinking of doing this for months. I don't know if people will even read this but I need to get stuff off my chest.

I believe in the dreams of our For Fathers and what they wrote in the Constitution.

We are no were near what they envisioned for this great Nation. We seem to pick and choice which parts of the Constitution we will follow. The two that seem to be the worst one that our Government want to intervene with are the first and the second.

Our Country was founded on Freedom of Religion  

Each time we prosecute someone because they did something under the guidelines of their Religion is wrong.  Yes it’s sad that there are Religions that will allow people to kill a member of their family because they are not following or living up to their religious beliefs or seek medical attention for their sick.
Our government should not step in. They have the right under our Constitution to practice their religion. Each time we prosecute someone for the death because their religious beliefs we are taking away their First Amendment Rights.
There are a lot of religions that beliefs are wrong in so many ways, but under our Constitution we cannot step in. Each time someone dies part of me want to call it murder, but I can’t because of my strong belief in our Constitution.
Now on to the Second Amendment
My family, are Patriots, and have served in many wars. I myself served in Dessert Storm. I have had many family members serve during the current conflicts. In fact one of my sons as well as my step daughter, have both been to Iraq.
I was brought up in a house where at age 7 I fired my first hand gun. All the hand guns and rifles in my house were loaded and I knew were each of them were and how to fire them. It is not guns that kill people it’s the person behind the gun.
If you teach a child at an early age to respect them, showing them what they can do. They don’t touch them. It’s the child that is curious that goes in and plays with the weapons and ends up killing themselves or sibling or friend.
Its people that don’t know right from wrong that decides to murder someone. We need to stop blaming the weapons and blame the person that did wrong.
